Recipe card – Coconut shrimp and rice
Hello! It’s been rather quiet around here, hasn’t it? Well, as you may already know it’s magazine season for me, so things are getting busy with all the cooking and photo shoots. There will definitely be more posts to come during the next few weeks. I have a few guest posts and interviews lined up for the next two weeks and after that a special video! And then soon after that, the magazine will be out. I’m really excited about this issue because it’s a little different from my previous issues and I’ve got an amazing set of guest contributors. Can’t wait to tell you all about it! But for now, I’m going to keep my lips sealed.
In the meanwhile, I’m leaving you with a recipe card for shrimp and rice made with Indian flavours.
Salmon teriyaki tacos
Hello hello! Today’s recipe is one of my favourites and was featured in my second online magazine. Since I’ve been trying to eat lighter this spring, this dish is perfect. These tacos are filled with stir-fried broccoli & carrot slaw, creamy guacomole, teriyaki salmon cubes and a generous sprinkling of pickled onions.
Tuna cakes made with Creole flavours
Today’s Beauty Eats recipe is about healthy food that’s also bursting with flavour. If you’re a new reader, you might be wondering what the Beauty Eats series is all about. The image on the left sums it up perfectly – it’s all about eating skin-friendly ingredients in delicious ways. You can view more recipes from this series here.
Grilled chicken wrap with lemon-garlic sauce
Happy Monday! I know, Mondays aren’t usually “happy”, but there are always way to make them better. Eating something you’ve been craving is definitely one of them!
I’ve been craving shawarmas for a while now, but I don’t have all the ingredients nor a meat spit to make an authentic one at home. But you know that doesn’t stop me! Why bother getting takeout, when you can make something at home quicker? This grilled chicken wrap is inspired by the Middle Eastern shawarma and frankly – it tastes pretty darn good. It’s got a nice kick from the fresh garlic and chilli and the lemon zest adds unbelievable freshness. Plus it’s a heart-healthy dish for those of you who are trying to stick to your new year’s resolutions!
