Connie (from Chronicles of a Beauty Nerd) and I have been busy preparing for our first Beauty Eats live event for the last few days. We’re really excited about it and hope to see a few of you there! Imagine starting your morning with blend of chocolate, berries, bananas and coconut… And it’s also great for your skin! Read on for the recipe and also beauty details from Connie at the Beauty Nerd.

Today is Connie’s birthday, so we had to make cake! What’s a better way to celebrate your birthday than with a mouthful of cake?! Yes, you read that right, it’s got tea in it. Since Connie from the Beauty Nerd introduced me to tea and the idea of cooking with tea, I just HAD to include it in her birthday cake.
